The sun was still low on the horizon. The sky looked a deep pink, purple blue color, all mixed in one. The Small Tree Place had only one cat scurrying through them. Aral swiftly dodged through the trees with fear in her eyes. She stayed low to the ground the whole time, and it seemed her legs shook with every step. Her face was tight and her ears pricked forward, ready for any sound. She'd jump at the crack of a twig, even if it she herself who had stepped on it.
Aral came to the spot where she first met Wolfheart and looked around frantically. She hadn't thought of what to do now. Her eyes darted back and forth, it was as if she thought Wolfheart would be here waiting for her.
After a moment of glancing from side to side Aral made herself comfortable in a small pile of moss. She shivered, thinking about what was to happen to her in the next part of her life.

What do we have here?
Came a snarl from behind the marble-white she-cat, a LightClan queen that resembled a war-cat from LeopardClan themselves, though she was ten times as fast. Her firey, goldenrod eyes looked Aral up and down, coming to the conclusion that she was a loner, and close to kitting. Her whiskers twitched, and her tail cracked, the suspision in her eyes not hiding as well as it could have.
You know you are in LightClan territory? You know you are a trespasser?

Aral thought for a moment about lieing, but she knew that she wouldn't get away with it. She dipped her head to the she-cat and said in a soft voice, "Yes, I know. And I'm sorry... But I need to - " Aral cut herself off. She could get Wolfheart in big trouble for telling this she-cat that he had come to visit her and now she was going to bear his kits. She glanced from side to side, as if hoping Wolfheart would poof out of mid-air and come to her aid. She nervously bit her lip and looked at the she-cat afraid of what she might do.

Find the father of those kits and tell him they exsist? I've been in that position before, sister.
Leopardsun called most cats she met a brother or sister, because all cats were decendents of StoneClan, correct? She wasn't sure why she was addressing this loner as a warrior like herself, except for the fact that she had made the exact mistake she had. Sitting quietly, her tail curled curtly around her forepaws, electric blue eyes staring at Aral.
There's no need to worry. I can help you.

Aral? Are you Aral? I'm Foxtail, Wolfheart's sister.
Foxtail padded quickly over to the white she-cat. Her blue eyes glowed with a certain sadness, her heart heavy.
Perhaps you'd better come with me. Thank you very much Leopardsun.
She gave the queen a lok of dismissal, even though Leopardsun was probably older than she was. Aral? Pregnant? Oh, dear brother. She sighed, her eyes stinging with tears.

Leopardsun blinked in surprise at Foxtail's arrival, tail flicking hervously. So Wolfheart was the father of these kits? Surprising, very surprising. She dipped her head to Foxtail, rising to her paws slowly.
Only trying to be of assistance, Foxtail. Wolfheart isn't the first LightClan cats to have kits with a cat whose out of bounds.
Her shoulder fur stood on end as she realized the secret she had just exposed. Swallowing hard, she hoped Foxtail would only judge it as a sarcastic comment. Because that wasn't just any secret. It was hers. Timepaw of RockClan. Littlepaw of SweetClan. Magpiepaw of SpiderClan. All her kits. The kits of she, and a tom in SweetClan known as Ravencaw.

Aral's sun-drop yellow eyes dodged from one cat to the other. They were wide with fear and she seemed to have no clue what was going on. The cats words were lost in her head. She didn't move as Foxtail told her to come with her. She just stared at the she-cat that had arrived first. She seemed like she would be able to help Aral, something similar had happened to her?
"What did you do when this happened to you?" she asked the cat. Her voice was rushed and loaded with fear. Aral was obviously scared to death by what was going to happen to her. Wolfheart had told her not to come back to LightClan territory. What if they hurt her and her to-be kits? She shook, her body quivering as she stared wide-eyed at the she-cat that had called her 'sister'.

Leopardsun took a silent glance at Foxtail, who moments before, had tried to send her away with a look, but just that wouldn't rid anyone of this stubborn queen. The answer to Aral's question exploded like a firework in Leopardsun's head, should she tell this loner of what had happened to her? With Foxtail here? She had no time to stop herself as the words slipped out with the air between her teeth.
Yes, loner. She swallowed hard. I made the same mistake you.. and Wolfheart seemed to have made. If Wolfheart has told you of the Clans of this forest, or if you have discovered this youself, amoungst us, SweetClan has squirmed into our ranks.
She wondered if Aral would really care about the tale she was about to reveal to her, and Foxtail, if she was even listening anymore than Aral was, in all her confusion.
As an apprentice, a storm similar to the one pounding fiercely on SpiderClan, lingered like a monster throughout LightClan territory. Training, as any apprentice, the storm caused my mentor and I to be separated. I was left to find myself wandering near the field Firestone had given to Featherstone and the rest of SweetClan. There, and alone in a roaring storm, I was attacked by a sickly racoon, starved and deranged. It was there, where a young tom of SweetClan saved my life. He was Ravenpaw then, and is now known as Ravencaw. If had it not been for him, I would not be here telling you this, story.
She realized how long this was taking, and quickly turned a long story short, finishing off the conclusion of the story. And with a sigh, she started the end.
Young as I was, I quickly fell in love. As did Ravencaw. And now our kits live littered amoung the Clans. Timepaw in RockClan, Magpiepaw in SpiderClan, and Littlepaw with her father in SweetClan.
Stinging tears formed behind Leopardsun's eyes, but she blinked them silently away, knowning that now Aral, as well as Foxtail knew her story. This left her in heaps of trouble, but that didn't really matter to her any longer, after all, she and Ravencaw would've been found out sooner or later.

Aral was surprised by Leopardsun's story. She tried to remember what the queen had said at the beginning, falling in love with another clan cat. Was that not allowed? She shook her head. She was pretty sure that no clan cat could mate or see a cat outside of a clan. After Leopardsun's story she realized that you must also not be able to mate with a cat in a different clan.
As Aral let the last words process in her mind, a thought struck her. Would her kits have to spread to different clans? Did she get to keep every kit she bore, or not? Fear rose in her body, starting at the tips of her toes and leaping upwards, sending what felt like electric shocks up her body and into her head. Even though she was scared, the fear had energized her, and if she found out that she would not get to keep her kits, she'd run. She'd leap away, not looking back and not thinking about Wolfheart. Her thoughts would only be on her kits.
She didn't run yet though, she waited. If she were to keep her kits, maybe she would be able to leave with Foxtail, go where the she-cat was going. Her eyes turned to the gray she-cat that resembled her brother so much. Pain struck in her heart. Wolfheart would know what to do. If only he were here...

Foxtail kneaded the ground nervously with her paws, sadness in her eyes. Her long dark tabby tail swished back and forth like the swaying of the wind. She scented a mouse nearby, and left momentarily to catch it. Moments later she returned with a plum young mouse, and she pushed it towards Aral.
Here, Aral. Eat this. It will strengthen you a little bit.
Foxtail stared at the ground with interest, noticing how different cat's paws were. It was quite random to think this, but it was something to do other than staring at Leopardsun and Aral. Foxtail thought about what her brother had told her earlier that day...It would break Aral's heart in two! The words came back to her momentarily.
I never really loved Aral that much..Just cared for her in a way. You have to belive me, Foxtail, there was nothing going on between us! She was just a friend!
Foxtail didn't realize it at the time, but she had said the words out loud. She glanced at Aral, and felt pity for her. Her brother was a pig, no matter how charming he may have seemed. And the fact that he was flirting with a different she-cat every day...Gosh! And then he had to leave LightClan to go to SweetClan...It was better off telling Aral Wolfheart had died! She decided to do so, since no other cat seemed to know where Wolfheart was.
Aral? I need to tell you this...Wolfheart died. He hasn't been seen for many days, and there is only a stale scent on one of our borders...
Lying to her was not easy, but it gave her a little more relief.

Leopardsun flexed her claws nervously at Foxtail's lie, but held her tongue. It was very possible was was dead, so there was a possiblity that Wolfheart had passed to StarClan, if that's where he even truely belonged. She swallowed hard, catching a bit of fear-scent echoing off Aral's fur.
Yes, she backed up Foxtail's statement, Wolfheart is dead.
She held her breath and hoped that Aral would not accuse them of the lies that were creeping out of their guts. After all, it would be better for Aral to believe that Wolfheart was dead rather have her believe that he was away with another she-cat.

[ I'm a bit confused... Wolfheart already left LightClan? That would mean that RockClan would probably know that it was SweetClan's doing and not LightClan's... Therefor no battle would rage out between LightClan and RockClan, like the plan was to be. It's fine, but then SweetClan's cover is gone and the plot kind of explodes. It's Ok if he already left because we can always think of a different way to make it work, but we didn't plan it that way. We thought the cats would leave after the battle between LightClan and RockClan. ]

[You know, just because Foxtail thinks he's disappeared doesn't mean he won't come back.. I'm thinking after a few days he will return to find Aral a member of LightClan, and he'll tell her that he never loved her, yadda yadda yadda. Then after a couple more deaths, he'll disappear again, only this time he reappears once more to say he's never coming back.] Foxtail exchanged glances with Leopardsun, her heart throbbing. She had lied, something she never thought capable of herself! Foxtail stared at the sky intently, anything to avoid Aral's gaze.
I wonder what their kits will look like?
She shook her head, feeling dizzy. Wolfheart should have returned many nights ago...he disappeared right after she had told him to buzz off. Foxtail rolled her eyes, remembering their conversation.
"You betrayed me! Going off with a kittypet behind my back? And not telling me?! I've shared everything with you, Wolfheart! You should show the same respect to me!"
"But Foxtail, I-I...."
"God, I don't know why I even let you drive her off! It was trouble from day one! Just stay out of my life, Wolfheart. I'll find other friends, better friends, and treat them better than you have me!
She shivered involuntarily, her eyes growing cold. A thought crossed her mind, and she began to speak her mind.
Aral, my brother is nothing but a pig. This is so not your fault what happened! He should have been more careful! But how about you come back with Leopardsun and I. We'll speak to Firestone about this, and you will probably become a warrior of our clan. Capisce?

Aral looked at Foxtail cautiously. Her heart was hammering, and she was sure that Leopardsun and Foxtail could hear it. She studied the gound beneath her paws, wondering what she should say. This cat, her true love's sister, had just called Wolfheart a pig!
Well, he never really said directly that he loved me...But then what would that make me? I'm going to join LightClan. My kits need somewhere besides a loner's life to live.
Aral glanced up at Foxtail and nodded.
Yes. I'll go with you and speak with Firestone.
Foxtail beamed, her heart lifting with happiness.
