Arcticstripe padded into the apprentices den after seeing off Boulderpaw at the camp entrance. She padded over to her comfortable moss bed and flopped down, sighing. She didn't think that mentoring would have been so hard. Boulderpaw would learn, but she had never mentored an apprentice before and to her he seemed to be a bit on the slow side of things.
She sighed again, knowing why Boulderpaw was kind of slow at all of this stuff. He came from a kittypet life, soft and cozy always fed. Once she thought about it he seemed to be looking a lot skinnier now that he was in the forest. Actually, he was skinnier then most cats in the clan. Was that something to worry about?
A yawn escaped her mouth and she decided that if she had the time she'd go ask Feathersong tomorrow if she had anything that would help Boulderpaw get through his stress. She rested her head down on her paws and slowly her eyelids drooped close, sending her into a fancy dream world.

Arcticstripe awakened to the first rays of sun glinting into the den. Their path went right through to her eyes. She blinked rapidly, trying to get the sunlight from them. She soon sat up after she realized the problem. Shaking her head she gazed around her. Yet another day with so few cats in the clan. She got to her paws and padded out of the den. She decided she would take Boulderpaw on a patrol to the borders before practicing fighting skills.
