Apprentice

Moonpaw is very shy, and hates it when felines so much as look at her. She tends to hide in the shadows, sometimes watching the world around her. Nothing horrible happened to the apprentice that made her this way, she just is. Cats don't seem to understand why Moonpaw doesn't like to talk, and they end up prying her for information. The timid she-cat then mumbles her excuses and scurries away. Gentle inquiries Moonpaw can handle, but will get offended if cats try to sweet-talk to her as if she is a simpleton. Moonpaw is the exact opposite, her being a shadow means that she can listen and hear things that broaden her horizan.
With the scraps of knowledge that Moonpaw picks up and the wisdom of her mentor, this tiny she-cat is a very good apprentice. She loves to learn, almost more then she loves her mother. Moonpaw isn't the best fighter, due to her minute size and shy attitude, but she gets along. Deep down Moonpaw wants to be a medicine cat, but knows she has to toughen up for the job. She also knows there already is a medicine cat apprentice, and that she wouldn't give up her position. Moonpaw also loves to day-dream, with thoughts of saving the lives of others.
Moonpaw doesn't become mad easily, and she takes insults with a quiet face. Sooner or later cats stop picking on her, and that is fine for Moonpaw. If the feline strays over the invisible line, then the untalkative femme with calmly walk away, while inside she is burning. Not the type to stay angry for long, Moonpaw will resume her peaceful attitude and carry on with her duties.
[appears]
A beautiful silver she-cat, Moonpaw is quite petite. She would be most related to an Egyptian Mau, but not exactly. Her ash stripes are barely visible, and her legs are a little too long. She regularly washes her pelt, especially when she is brooding or angry. Sometimes felines take note of the silver belle, other times they ignore her. Moonpaw doesn't care. Her coat isn't that long in summer, but in winter she grows quite the pelt, and inheritance that comes down from her family line. Her tail is of medium length, and she likes to wrap it around herself and over her paws.
Miniscule visage takes in the world with huge, molten lead eyes. At twilight Moonpaw's orbs are quite black, inky blots against her pale facade. In the sunlight, her pools are a shade a dark brown that can barely be distinguished from coal. So most cats simply refer to them as black. Moonpaw's face is shaped somewhat like a triangle, a narrow base ending with a softly rounded button nose. Sharp ears accent Moonpaw's lovely crown, perfect for picking up tidbits of conversation.
[coming]
Moonpaw was born in SpiderClan, and has lived there all her lonely life.
Her mother, Maplesong, died when she was born. Appearently she had lost too much blood while giving birth to Moonkit and didn't survive to give birth to what could have been Moonpaw's family. Maplesong had been tiny, like Moonpaw, and so now Moonpaw fears having kits. Anyway, Maplesong's mate, Emberflame, immediately pleaded with the other queens to let Moonkit live with them. Only one old she-cat, Gingertail, gave in.
So Moonkit survived when chances had been against her, and was just about to be apprenticed when Gingertail, Emberflame, Maplesong's gentle brother Frostpine died in brutal battle against some feirce rogue cats. Moonpaw, upon hearing this, was quite grief-stricken, as was natural. She was all alone, and almost disbanded from SpiderClan in her state of shock. But somehow she got through that dark point in time, and is here she is now.
[moonpaw]
Content away from the SpiderClan camp, Moonpaw was having a delightful time gathering up herbs for the medicine cat. Leaf-bare was approaching, and most of the Clan were out fetching different sorts of herbs. Moonpaw had originally been assigned to hunt, but she had pleaded and begged, which was quite unusual for her, to be part of the gathering team. As punishment for her speaking out, Moonpaw had to look after the elders for a day, but she didn't mind. They were a nice old group, and rarely had ticks that Moonpaw had to coax out.
When Moonpaw's petite mouth was stuffed with delicious and very useful catnip, the young apprentice loped smoothly back to the silent camp, her somewhat long legs taking her there easily. Moonpaw liked running, but didn't show off in front of other felines. Arriving at the medicine cat den, Moonpaw dropped off her load in the area where the medicine cat kept the catnip, Moonpaw swiftly ran out to fetch more, eager to please.
