Blizzardheart let her paws steer her around the many trees that scattered the area. As she walked, she looked up the tall trunks and into the bright green leaves above. The tree trunks swayed in the wind and the leaves rustled. It was a peaceful day.
Finally Blizzardheart got where she wanted to go. She found the spot that was dented inward from her sitting in it many times. She smiled to herself and padded towards it. When she reached it though, she smelt that something else had been here. The spot was made of dirt and indeed if you looked hard enough you could see that it had been scratched around at. Blizzardheart sniffed the area and smelt the stale stench of fox. She wrinkled her nose and looked around, her eyes narrowed. The stupid creature has messed me up. He'll pay for it!
Blizzardheart sniffed the scent one more time so that she could find the trail. She did. It led east of where she was and she quickly followed it with her body low to the ground. Her white semi-long fur brushed against the earth floor, the dirt collecting in it.
With every step she took the scent became stronger. It eventually became so strong Blizzardheart knew it was right around the corner. She readied herself, flexing her muscles and narrowing her eyes. Before she could stalk forward and leap though it showed it's face. Its teeth were bared and its eyes gleaming. Blizzardheart had lost her element of surprise.

Blackheart sighed contently to herself as she entered the Birch Place. The deputy had a cross look on her face as she looked around. Silentwind, her favorite target, was no where to be found. Her heart was heavy until she was Blizzardheart. She seemed to be stalking something. Being very curious, she watched the warrior.
A while later, the she-cat noticed that Blizzardheart seemed to be preparing herself for something. By her point of view, it was battle. A large red creature leapt out at the warrior, and the deputy was a bit surprised. The last thing she expected was a fox. Darkheart moved her paws, ready to attack the fox, but she halted. It would be interesting to watch Blizzardheart do this herself. After all, she was a SweetClan warrior.
Darkheart hoped that the warrior wouldn't look in her direction for assistance. Her dark calico fur stuck out like a crow in the snow. The deputy wasn't so cold hearted to let Blizzardheart get killed by a fox. A bit mangled, bitten, or injured, but nothing to threaten her life. If a SweetClanner died, what would that say about SweetClan.

Blizzardheart didn't even catch a wiff of Darkhearts scent. She was to busy thinking about how to go about this. She needed to get a plan going, and quick. To bide some time she started swiping out with her paws and hissing, but it was only to be returned to her.
The two animals circled each other for awhile. The fox obviously wasn't stupid enough to leap by himself, so Blizzardheart readied her self for a quick move and then a jump. She faked going left and went right instead. Her claws were outstretched and she hit the fox in the side. He didn't waste any time though. Soon they were locked in a tight battle. They looked like a small ball.
Blizzardheart took a couple of bites, but gave the fox more then that. Deep gashes were made from her sharp claws, she had even pulled out some tufts of fur. The animal kept battling though.
Blizzardheart soon dislodged herself from the tangle and bolted at the creatures right side this time only to meet is claws with hers. The were locked in a battle of strength. Who could knock down the other? Blizzardheart battled and battled, but she could feel herself slipping backwards. The fox was only a little bit bigger then her, therefor he had more weight to push down on. If Blizzardheart fell, the fox wouldn't hesitate in killing her.
An idea struck her though. She let her claws slip out of his and she zipped out from under him before he could land on her. He hit the ground with a snarl and got to his paws. It was to late though, Blizzardheart had already lunged for the death blow to the neck. She hooked on her fangs and bit down with all her strength.
The fox fell, bringing Blizzardheart with it. She stumbled to her feet to look around her at the bloody mess. That was when she noticed Darkheart, watching her. She had had an audience for that wonderful battle! But what bothered her was that she was being spied on. She narrowed her eyes at the she-cat and waited to see if she would come closer.

Darkheart sighed, looking at the warrior. That was a wonderful fight. Too bad the fox didn't do much damage to Blizzardheart. Only a few bites and scratches. When the fighting ceased, she noticed the victor looking in her direction. She knew it would only be matter of time before the she-cat would see her. If not, then she could easily dub the warrior stupid.
Knowing it would be stupid of her to stand here and watch Blizzardheart any longer, Darkheart made her way down the hill she was on. The small deputy's movements were quite fast.
"Wonderful battle," Darkheart praised with a sly look in her eyes. She avoided contact with the warrior at that moment though, so the long wasn't visable. "Sad day for the fox." She could almost hear Blizzardheart saying something about her appearance as she fought the red creature.

Blizzardheart knew Darkheart by watching her around camp. She knew that she could be mean sometimes, so she kept an icy stare on the deputy. She only nodded when she was praised, she could feel something coming.
After Darkhearts second words she looked down at the creature. It's body was limp and covered in blood. She caught the sight of her paws out of the corner of her eyes. They whiteness was stained with red blood. She looked over herself, well the parts of herself that she could see. She was bitten on the shoulders and on her back. A scratch on her cheek. She was quite a mess, but it didn't hurt to much. She'd just go to Crossflash and get some cobwebs put on the wounds and all would be well.
She was not distracted by her looks for long though. The blood that was caked into her fur didn't bother her more then what Darkheart might be thinking of. She waited to see if the deputy would say anything else.

Examining the warrior for a moment, she had a digusted look."Hookpaw could of taken the fox down in a matter of seconds," she said as she began to walk away. The statement wasn't meant as praise for her apprentice, but an inuslt toward Blizzardheart. The deputy wondered how long it would take for her words to register with the warrior. Her tail flicked in a mocking way as she walked. Looking at the dead fox, she sighed. Her ears pricked forward, hearing a mouse just waiting to be killed. OOC: Nyah. So short.

Blizzardheart narrowed her eyes at Darkheart, but held her tongue. She was just barely able to make the hiss that was coming up her throat stop. She watched as the cat walked away. A hatred for Darkheart burned inside Blizzardheart, but she knew that she could do nothing about it. There was a reason this cat was deputy.
Darkheart may be evil, but she was strong and quick-minded. There was no way Blizzardheart would be able to beat that. Instead she had to stand there lashing her tail back and forth and stare at the deputy while she walked away.

"Smart kittypet," she said with a smug look as she looked back at the warrior. She could almost feel the hatred from the warrior. Catching sight of the mouse she heard just moments eariler, she sprang. In a blink of an eye, she had the mouse in her mouth. 'I guess Blizzardheart is smarter than she seems. She'll trip soon enough,' thought the deputy to herself as she soon disappeared out of sight. OOC: Writer's Block. *dramatic music*

Blizzardheart didn't take her eyes off of Darkheart until she disappeared into the trees. She shook with rage but after taking a deep breath she calmed herself.
She then looked at the body of the fox. What was she supposed to do with it? She didn't think anybody would eat a fox back at camp. Maybe some of the queens had heard of a fox lurking nearby though, would they want Blizzardheart to bring the body back to reasure them he was no more? She shrugged and grasped the foxes scruff. She mine as well take it back to camp. She could ask Featherstone what she should do with it.
[ No, not writers block! I had that earlier today... ]
